Will the action never cease???!!!! I wanted to highlight another great event happening as part of our Get (sm)Art, Give (sm)Art Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3&4. On Saturday afternoon from 4-6pm, Canmore's own Book Artist Dea Fischer will be introducing some of her newest pieces in the gallery and giving a public demonstration of how these magical pieces of art are born. Hot on the heels of her return from Denver to create a teaching video on book arts/book binding, Dea will show you the evolution of her now famous Starbook, as well as "River Worn" and a few more surprise feats of bookmaking.
